Ooh, ooh, ooh! First, an intro post! Hi, my name's Blue! I'm a polyamorous pansexual pagan. See those big ol' words? So many people ask me what they mean. LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YA.
POLYAMOROUS: WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Actually, being poly can mean lots of different things to everybody. My poly means that I am not monogamous. I bet you know what that word means! Most people think a relationship should only be between two people. That is definitely not for me! I've always had a lot of love and a tendency to fall in love with my friends. Until recently, I had always stifled my feelings because I felt like I was required to fall into the social norm.
PANSEXUAL: WTF IS THAT? I should have known a long time ago that I didn't fall into the social norm. When I say “pansexual” I mean to say that I am attracted and open to relationships (both sexually and platonically) with people of all races, genders, etc. That is, I love people regardless of the shell.
PAGAN: I worship the earth. Though, “worship” is a strong word. I'd prefer to say that I have a great respect for it and I believe that all life is equal, and I understand the cycles of energy in life.
Okay! So with that out of the way, let me tell you a few more things about myself. I'm a cook; I haven't had any official schooling, just on-the-job training and, of course, standing exactly in the way when my mom was cooking when I was little. Food was not always a fascination for me, but it is now.
Recently, someone has come into my life who has requested that I cook for him once a week (it is the designated day which I will be spending with him). To me, and to all of you, he will be known as “Sir.” My relationship with him is somewhat like that of an owner and a pet. I come from the “pet play” area of BDSM and he's had experience being a Dominant. (For more about that relationship, read this article.)
In order to write about my D/s relationship with Sir, and talk about my cooking, I realized I'd need a new blog, or it was going to take over That Blue Cat. I didn't want that.
So, in short, here I am now and opening this blog, and I'm going to write both about my experiences with Sir (with his permission) and about the delicious food I make, both for him and in other instances, as they occur (and I have a camera handy).
